DATA ANALYSIS AND INTERPRETATION
(Difficult- Long)
The level of analysis and
interpretation of the data was difficult. There were many sets of IDs and many
questions about the sufficiency of the data. Each short caselet ID included a
set of statements with some data and 1 or 2 questions. In addition to short-term
IDs, there were also the following primary ID types:
Radar
Caselet
Linear and tabular DI
The series of numbers also had a
different reason: a question was given as a series and the candidate had to
identify the logic of the given series and complete another series given in the
question by finding the (n) th term.
There was also a twist in the
questions of arithmetic word problems. A question had some data and was
accompanied by a set of questions numbered (a), (b), (c) ... and the candidates
had to solve them and determine that a solution could be found among those

ENGLISH LANGUAGE (difficult)
This section was packed for all
the aspirants who participated in this exam. There were many new types of
questions. It is clear that this year the IBPS Communications Manager has
created a new trend for the English-language section, which emphasizes the
importance of reading and analytical skills. So far, candidates were used to
dealing with a single large pass accompanied by a set of 5 to 7 questions such
as reading comprehension for this section of bank exams, but in IBPS PO Hands
2018, many short passages had 2 to 3 questions. According to the review shared
with us by the students who participated in this exam, there were about 5 to 6
short CRs and the written comprehension topic included a large portion of about
20 questions out of a total of 35 in the English section. All passages were
based on articles related to the economy.
The questions relating to the
cloze test and the rearrangement of the sentences of this examination also had
a different model. It is important that candidates invest time in reading the
instructions very carefully, because if the questions had a different
structure, they were achievable if you understood the instructions given.
